Read-Minutes of the 18th meeting of the Academic Council held on 15/07/2022, item no.

There are many students trailing in old scheme, as they have failed to achieve the eligibility criteria to
vhte the End semester examination and hence awarded Wth "FE" grade. These students have to
register to these courses and attend classes, after their programme completion, or within the
programme duration with the support of the parent institution.
Students with "FE" grade courses in old scheme also face difficulty in reg•stering for such courses of
old scheme, as semesters in such scheme has vanished and the ongoing regular semesters MI be in
the new/revised scheme. Hence in order to resolve the issue, a proposal as detailed below was placed
before the Academic Council for discussion:
"The colleges may map FE courses of vanishing semesters by suitable faculty members.
Once a course is mapped by a faculty, ir is possible that the students can do academic
activities related to the course, as in the case of a Regular batch student. The students shah
attend rhe classes by the faculty arranged by rhe department and undergo interna/
assessments as per the Curriculum. The credit constraint for registration for the courses,
remains as per the respective Regulation"
The Academic Council, after discussion res.QLyed-tQ-permjt-the Colleges to map 'FE' courses of all
vanishing semesters by suitable faculty members and that such 'FE' graded students shall attend the
classes arranged by such faculties and complete all internal assessments and other eligibi ity criteria as
stipulated in the respective curriculum.
