Manner and procedure for evaluation and assessments were also published in the 1.10. Itwas also stated that 'if a student is not satisfied with the grade obtained in any subject as per theassessment strategy discussed above, he/she has the option to cancel the grade of the particular subjectand write the examination in the next available chance. This examination will be considered as their firstchance.g.Tech and MBA Students presently studying in final semesterhrimester are already provided a provisionto cancel the grades Vide Notification NO. KTU/AD(EXAMY2596/2021 dated 2407.2021.Therefore all students Of Blech, B.Tech part-Time, M.Tech, M.Tech part-Time, MCA, MCA integrated,MBA, MBA Part-Time, M.Arch, M.Plan, BArch, g.Des and BHMCT programmes - except B. Tech and MBAtime and part time students undegone final semester/ trimester exams in June/July 2021 - Who Wish tocancel the grades of the courses\subjects acquired through the evaluation strategy mentioned in abovementioned order should send their request to cancel the grades to University. The requests should besubmitted the Head of tt-E Institution to University on or before 26th August 2021,Thursday 5pm. (Format of request is attached to this notification).After canceling the grades, student can write the exam in the next available chance conducted inconventional mode (pen and paper). The next available chance will be the regular even semester examto be conducted by the University for the particular semester during the academic year 2020-21. Thisexamination will be conducted for 70% marks with an examination duration of 2hr. 15 mts. and marksobtained out Of mark in this exam Will be converted to a scale Of 100% by multiplying With I .42857.This examiantion will be considered as the regualr chance for the students who have cancelled thegrades.In case of absence or failure in this chance, students will be treated as failed. To pass in thecourse,'subject, such failed students have to write the subsequent supplementary exams in conventionalmode and such attempts will be treated as supplementary chance itself.
