05.02.2021Guidelines regarding Examination Centre changeThe 'Centre Change ' option is a special facility offered to the students of the University duringthe Covid -19 pandemic period for selecting their centre of examinations, as a precautionarymeasure to keep them safe by minimizing their travel and transportation. Students are requestedunderstand the motive behind offering such a facility and exercise it with extreme care andcaution. This facility shall be used only if it is highly essential.I. The provision for centre change will be available for all examinations except M. Tech, M. Tech(Part-Time), M.Arch, M.P1an, MBA (Part-Time), B. Tech (Part-Time) and in PhD Course works.2. Students can apply for change of examination centre through student login in the KTU portalbefore the last dale specified by the University for each examination Studenrs who wish to writethese examinations in a college, other than their parent institute, can apply through portal. Itshould be noted that students who wish to write examinations in Their parent institure itselfNEED NOT apply through portal. Their examination centre will be their parent institute bydefault. "Parent institute" is the institute through which student registered for examinations andpaid the fees. Needless To say, normally it is the institute at which student is pursuing his/herstudies.3. University is providing this examination centre change option to the students to writeexaminations in the centre of their choice. This facility is providedfor students to writeexaminations at a centre avoiding a stay outside their home. This facility is not an option toselect convenient colleges of their choice within the same region. bur is an option to reduce theirtravelling distance and time Therefore requests from students to write examinations in anexamination centre which is located within 10 Km radius of their parent institute will not beconsidered. Student shall submit a self declaration to This effect in the portal while applying forcentre change (in the 'Additional Info ' column in portal). which will be subjected to a randomchecking.4. The request for centre change registered in the portal within the last date specified throughnotification, only will be entertained and delayed requests will not he considered In unavoidablecircumstances, late requests (received 96 hours prior to the scheduled time of examination) willRegistered Exam center Change Request fromStudent LoginIntroductionUniversity has provided a new feature called Registered Exam Center Change for students torequest for a one time change of their exam center after exam registration. This document detailsthe steps to be followed by Students for add exam center change request after exam registration iscompleted.Viewing Exam Center Change Request PageNavigation : Exam Examination Exam Center Change(Screen-I)-Screen where the user can view the Exam Center Change icon against an examdefinition to add exam center change request.This Exam Center Change button will be visible only if the last date of exam center changerequest is not over.Click on Exam Center Change button and it will be redirected to a new page called Exam CenterChange Request as shown in below image.
It is hereby notified that students appearing for B.Tech S3 (S,FE) Exam Dec 2020 (2015 scheme), B.Arch S3 (R,S) Exam Dec 2020 and BHMCT S3 (R,S) Exam Dec 2020 can apply for change of exam centre through student login in KTU portal up to 06.03.2021, Saturday.
