Hence forquestion papers for B.Tech SB (Regular & Supplementary) Exam May 2020 and B.Tech S8 (Hons.)Exam May 2020, will be applicable.But for the pending exam Of MBA TS examination and B.Tech S7 (Hons) Exam Dec 2019, maximummarks, duration of exam etc. will be as per already followed regulations, ie exams will be of three hourduration and maximum marks Will be 100 (for B.Tech courses) and 60 (for PG courses).Regarding question paper for B.Tech SB (Regular & Supplementary) Exam May 2020 and B.Tech SB(Hons.) Exam May 2020, following points may be noted:Exam duration Will be 2 hrs, 15 minutes (135 minutes) - Question paper and scheme Of evaluation Willbe of usual pattern as in regulation (as followed till now) - Students are required to write answers for70 mark questions only - Eut students can attend any questions as per the instructions in the questionpaper, within the time limit- All the answers written on answer book will be evaluated by examiners asusual - Examiners will write the actual mark obtained on answer book (it may be a mark between zeroand hundred) - Examiners will enter scored marks as such in KTU portal, but if the marks obtained isabove 70, it will be trimmed to 70. While processing result, portal will convert marks obtained outOf 70 to out Of 100 (applying a multiplication factor Of 1.4285). Based on this, 32 marks scored Will beconverted to 45.7 (sufficient for a pass), 50 marks scored will be converted to 7 IA, 60 marks scoredWill be converted to 85.7, 70 marks scored Wiil be converted to 100 marks and so on.The reporting time for forenoon session Of exam is 9.30 am and afternoon session is 1.30 prn. For SBHons and exams the F.N. session will be held between 10.15 and 12.30pm and A.N, sessionWill be held between 02.15pm and 04.30pm.in addition to exams scheduled in July 2020, B.Tech S8 (R,S) Exam will be held during October 2020also. For students Who fail in B.Tech SB (R,S) Exam May 2020 held in July, B.Tech SB exam in October2020 will be treated as supplementary chance, At the same time it will be treated as first chance forstudents who were absent in July exam of E.Tech (R,S).Regarding the mark entry of final semester project of semester E.Tech students, 22nd July 2020will be last day for entering marks of internal and end semester components.
