Summer Course is a Remedial short-term class arrangement for the students who have become Failed Due To Eligibility (FE). The Summer Course is an independent course and the students have to register for the same by themselves.
The Summer course will be conducted after the even semester exams (S2, S4, S6, S8) during the semester break. The Summer course will be of 20 contact hours for each course.
Why Summer Course?
Summer Course is an option for the students to avoid course repeat and continue their studies. The students can attend the summer course and then appear for the university exams directly without repeating the course.
After Registering and Attending the Summer course students will be able to write the university exam and can stay away from Course Repeat.
Who Can Register?
Conditions For Registering For Summer Course
- The students shall have minimum 50% attendance in the specified course of
the regular semester. They have to register for the summer course and obtain
- The students shall have a minimum 35% Internal Assessment marks in the regular semester.
During the summer course, the student will get a chance to improve the Internal Assessment
marks by writing one Internal Assessment make-up test during the summer course. This will
replace the lower of the two marks got in the regular semester. However, the Internal Assessment
marks shall be limited to 50%.
The Students can Register For Summer course in First and Second Year, That is (S1-S4). From Third Year onwards summer course is not available.However, if you have got 45% or more internal marks you may register for the summer course.
